Crochet Patterns
I enjoy crochet. It has been a part of my life for over 50 years and I never seem to grow tired of making things. They don’t even have to be useful things..grin There is something in the process that fulfills a need to create… or maybe it just fill my hands with pleasant motion…who knows. Anyway, there are many places one can find wonderful patterns to crochet almost anything. For that person out there who just wants to learn to do some of the basics, here are a few patterns. These patterns are free for you to use. Make as many as you like and feel free to sell them at your school bazaars and swap meets.
- 3″ TINY HEART This little 3″ heart is done with thread instead of yarn and is perfect for embellishing crazy quilts, pockets, gift boxes… whatever one would like..
- TINY CROCHETED BASKET This is another thread crochet motif that can be used as an embellishment.
- V-STITCH AFGHAN This afghan moves along at a quick and easy pace, works up quickly and is soft and comfortable. It makes a wonderful gift and can be sized easily by varying the size of the needle or the size of the thread.
- EASY FINGERLESS MITTENS Crocheting in the back loop only is an easy way to make a ribbing…these mittens look good and are comfortable.
- EASY RIBBED HAT Here’s the pattern for the hat that matches the fingerless mittens. I made these sets as gifts…
- EASY RIBBED SLIPPERS Easy to make, quick to put together…
- CROCHETED MEDALLION SCARF Another quick and easy pattern. The drape and feel of this scarf is wonderful.

I tried several different ways to look at the pattern and print it for the crocheted medallion scarf but I had no luck. What do I have to do to print this free pattern? Your help would be appreciated.

Hi Lesley.. Thanks for the head’s up about this page. I have fixed the link in the list above, but am having difficulty figuring out how to fix the link in the sidebar listing. If you click on the link in the main body of the text it will take you to the pattern.. ;0)

I saw a reference to a Dale Earnhardt afghan pattern on your old website but I cannot find it on your new website. Can you send it to me or direct me to it online?
Many thanks,

i have been looking for a baby poncho crochet pattern for years. It is with 3 ply yarn, shaped into sort of a triangle, and at the very bottom three rolls of ruffles were worked inbetween the last 3 rolls. This was the first pattern i made, it is very easy. It fits about a 2-5 year old, although you make it bigger. please if you can help me, i would be entirely appreciate. I made it for my two little girls about 40 years ago and would like to make it for my grandaughter.

I was looking for a simple ribbed crochet hat pattern for some left over yarn I had. The first page google brought me to was yours, and the pattern is exactly what I was looking for. Thank you so much for taking the time to put it online.

I can’t seem to find the white dress you said you had made several times. It is shown at the top of the first page on this site. It wasn’t at Justcrochet. Can you tell me where to find it please? Thanks.
