I Think I’ll Make a Quilt…

We cleaned out our closets yesterday. There were large lawn bags full of stuff that will go to Salvation Army. But I did keep a stack of things out to cut up and make into fabric for quilts…
I spent the time last night while watching…woo hoo.. Tom Sellick in the first of his TV movies as Jessie Stone .. cutting up DH’s shirts and some of my things. I wound up with 3 piles ..blues, reds and tan/taupes. There are more colors still in the stash to be cut up and I’m sure there is more than enough to make at least one quilt…maybe two.

I have decided to make my own patterns and I think I will use my trademark snail as part of it… That should make it fun. This is him on an egg that I painted a few years ago.
I hope everyone is having a nice Sunday… DH and I have decided that the only way either of us will dress today is if the doorbell unexpectedly rings..lol… and maybe not even then. We may just decide not to answer it… (I doubt that one, though.. ;O)
