Fabric Follies Two

The brown “Icelandic” wool that I thought I had turned out to Alpaca…wooo hooo… Last weekend we made a quick trip to McKinney where I finally bought the carders.  I wasn’t sure how to go about using them, especially with Alpaca, but I was lucky enough to come across a link to a You Tube video showing just what I needed .. http://youtube.com/watch?v=D2wM_f-GRY8

Mine are not coming out exactly like hers, so I will be doing a little checking on how they will spin.  But I do love the airy softness of these little “potatoes”!
