Custom Fit Raglan Sweater! (free pattern/tutorial)
January 27, 2008 at 10:28 am | In Crafts, Free Patterns, Handcraft, Handwork, Knit, Tutorials | 1 CommentI’m still working on my knitting skills and am beginning to be quite comfortable with the
knitting needles as opposed to the total comfort of my well used crochet hooks… I have finished a couple of pairs of socks and am working on another pair..
In my search for a top down raglan sweater pattern I came across The Incredible, Custom-fit Raglan Sweater. I love this custom fit equation and I especially like the fact that it is top down construction … I am terribly bad at sewing the seams.. ughhh
Have a look…

Am confused about the folks who say that the measurements aren’t the best. I love the neck.
I do have trouble with a smooth under arm without any “holes”. I’m next trying the M1 with a purl in the back loop instead of a knit stitch as the increase stitch. Maybe I should just pull harder on the yarn when I increase?
