The Nadelbinder… Bernard Dankbar
September 23, 2007 at 5:33 am | In Crafts, Handcraft, Handwork, Historical Textile, Naalbinding | Leave a CommentWhen I first discovered naalbinding, I was like a sponge soaking up everything on the net that I could find. One of the most useful and helpful…and encouraging… sites that I turned to in my learning process was Bernhard’s Nadelbinding pages. When I asked for permission to link to his site, I told him I was his “unknown student”…lol He makes it look so easy. The above picture was all the encouragement I needed to send me spiraling into the process. This is an exhibition in 2005 in Germany of his work. Isn’t it amazing!
Have a look!
